Healthcare video production: healthcare videos and animations that clear compliance

We make patient stories, physician recruitment films, service-line marketing, device training and internal communications for organizations where every claim gets reviewed. Broadcast-trained producers, HIPAA-aware crews, and a review process that assumes legal, compliance and marketing all have to sign.

Typical simple film

We shoot in live clinical environments without slowing care

Patient floors, ORs, imaging suites, infusion bays, labs and ambulance bays. Small footprint crews, hospital-grade infection control expectations, badge and escort protocols, and a producer who knows when to stop rolling. Care always outranks the shot list.

  • Consent and release handling for patients, families and staff
  • No PHI in frame: charts, monitors, whiteboards and screens managed
  • Quiet, cable-light setups that fit a working corridor
  • Infection control, PPE and scrub-in compliance

Built for compliance, legal and medical review

Script first, then cameras. You approve the script, the claims and the on-camera speakers before we spend a dollar on production, so review happens on a document instead of a locked edit. We track claim substantiation, keep a source line for every statistic, and flag anything that reads as medical advice.

  • Scripts written for MLR-style review cycles
  • Claim and citation log delivered with the film
  • Required disclaimers and safety language handled in graphics
  • Version control so approvals never get applied to the wrong cut

Patient and physician stories that hold up

Real people, interviewed properly, edited so they still sound like themselves. We prep patients without scripting them, keep the questions open, and cut for one clear takeaway instead of a highlight reel of adjectives. These are the films that outperform every other asset in a service-line campaign.

Physician and nurse recruitment

Recruitment film that speaks to clinicians rather than a general audience: call schedule, support staff, technology, leadership, and what the city is actually like to live in. Made to run on your careers page, in outreach email and at recruiting conferences.

Training, onboarding and patient education

Procedure and device training, EHR rollouts, safety and annual compliance modules, pre-op and discharge instructions. Delivered as SCORM-ready or plain MP4 files with captions, chaptering and a transcript, plus Spanish and other language versions when you need them.

Medical device, pharma and life science

Product films, procedure animations for anatomy a camera cannot reach, KOL interviews, trade show loops and sales enablement. We work inside regulated messaging, keep indications and limitations on screen where required, and animate rather than dramatize when the claim demands precision.

Questions we get asked

Can your crews work in patient care areas?
Yes. We shoot in hospitals, clinics and surgical suites regularly. Crews follow your access, escort, PPE and infection control rules, carry certificates of insurance, and complete vendor credentialing if your facility requires it.
How do you handle patient privacy?
Nothing is filmed without a signed release, and we treat every screen, chart and whiteboard in frame as PHI until it is cleared. Media is stored on encrypted drives, shared through access-controlled links, and we can sign a business associate agreement when it applies.
Our legal and compliance review is slow. Does that break your timeline?
No, because approval happens on the script. Once the script and speakers are signed off, production and edit are predictable. A simple film is typically about two weeks of Kicker time, plus whatever your review cycle needs.
Do you charge travel fees to come to our facility?
For the most part, never. We staff from local crews in 21 cities across the US and Canada, so shoots outside our home markets do not add flights, hotels or per diems.
Can you produce Spanish and other language versions?
Yes. Subtitled and fully voiced versions, including AI-assisted translation and lip-sync when it is appropriate, always with a human review pass on clinical terminology.

If the film has to clear compliance, start with a call.
