Our Video Production Process

Making a well-done social media video requires a few steps. We’ve broken the process down into 4 key parts. Remember at each stage of our entire process, you get unlimited revisions.

1. Briefing & Fact finding

We start by getting to know you. We ask for some information from you to help us understand your video requirements. We then set up a kickoff call between you, your wonderful dedicated Kicker project manager. This is a chance for us to pick your brains so we can build our understanding of your brand, industry, product and the challenges you’re facing. We can also discuss platforms, formats and timelines.

2. Script Writing

Based on our briefing with you, we put together a first draft of the script. This is a side by side document, laying out the audio and the video portions that describe what will be happening on screen at each point. When we say ‘first draft’ – we mean it! You get the chance to provide feedback, and we can revise it as many times as necessary until you’re totally happy to sign off and move forward.

3. Pre-Production

Once the script is signed off, we head into the most critical part of the production,  all the pre-planning and prep work needed for the video.  This could be arranging the filming on location, or gathering assets from you like photos or clips.  We can also provide stock content to fill in the blanks if necessary.  You are kept in the loop at all times via our customer portal and project management system. 

4. Production & Post Production

We shoot video and/or create motion graphics.   We may add a professional voiceover track, royalty free music, sound effects and work on adding the movement and transitions that bring your social media videos to life!     Unlimited revisions until you’re happy.
