How we produce Testimonal Videos

Making a well-done testimonial video requires a few steps. 

1. Briefing & Fact finding

To get started, we’ll jump on a Zoom call to ask you a few questions to learn about the goal of your testimonial video, your audience and the key ideas/messages that are important to emphasize. We’ll go more in-depth about your company, products and services, and marketing messages. We’ll identify:

 

  • The key benefits for your featured client and develop the “pitch” for approaching them that highlights the advantages of participating 

  • The goal of your testimonial video, the target audience, and principal ideas to feature 

 

What you’ll receive:

  • An email template that you can customize (to your clients inviting them to participate)

  • Project management from start to finish

Once your featured client has agreed, Kicker will handle everything else for you.

2. Research & Client Interview

After our call kick-off call, We’ll do our homework and research your industry and featured client. We will then send:

  • Suggested Email introductions to relevant team members and to your client (you will be included as much or as little as you like)

  • A copy of our initial interview questions (the goal here is to get a strong return on investment metrics by aligning client comments with your value proposition) and you’re welcome to add your own questions as well.

 

Next, we will set up the video shoot at your client office – or we will schedule a remote video recording.   We use a special app to capture hi res video remotely.   The interview is about 15-30 minutes.  Once the interview is over, you’ll receive:

 

  • Transcript recording of the client interview for review (optional) prior to any editing.

3. Approvals

You will manage the entire approval process and ensure everyone involved has reviewed the testimonial video and any revisions. Once you get approval, the video is yours!

What you’ll receive:

  • An approved Testimonial Video (in .mp4 format to upload anywhere)

4. Production of other assets (optional)

Kicker can also transform your Testimonial Video into a professionally designed sales and marketing PDF file ready for digital or print sharing. We can also create shorter, reformatted social media versions for any platform. What you’ll receive:

  • A final case study in PDF format
